What is the difference between an ATM Card and a Check or Debit Card?
An ATM Card enables a customer to withdraw cash from ATM machines placed at dispensaries, clubs, cash only restaurants and convenience stores and to make purchases at some stores, such as Wal-Mart, Publix and a few drug stores and gas stations.
A Check or Debit Card enables a customer to withdraw cash from ATM machines and make purchases at any store or retailer that accepts MasterCard. Funds are deducted from your checking account as an ATM transaction.
